My local birding patch consists of Croxall GP, Whitemoor Haye (when we are not been thrown off), Branston Water park for photography, and local gravel pits along the Trent and Tame valleys. I also visit other places such as Blithfield, Belvide and Cannock Chase regularly. I will also be up early and find myself on the other side of the country by breakfast looking for new places and new birds. I also do photography (basic to say the least). My cameras are a Sony Alpha 100 with a 500mm lens and a Nikon Coolpix 4500 for digiscoping. My scope is an Opticron ES 80. I am often seen with my dog, Jess, much to some birders disgust, however looking at my photo, she is quite interested. I also have my own hide in my back garden called the Dunnock Hide.
